Transform the Way You Move, Adapt Your Practice, and Dissolve Daily Discomfort
Most recurring pain isn’t a mystery—it’s a movement problem.
When we move without clear internal mapping, repetitive stress and compensation patterns quietly build up over time. Ground Work is your foundational guide to mapping your central line, preventing repetitive stress injury, and learning how to adapt any movement practice to fit your unique body and goals.
Ever wonder how to move safely, efficiently, and with complete confidence?
Ground Work provides a core collection of skills and drills to boost your proprioception—your brain’s internal GPS for sensing where your body is in space.
By introducing, practicing, and integrating these essential skills into your daily routine, you will take the guesswork out of movement, protect yourself from repetitive stress, and gain direct insight into your body’s unique tendencies—shifting them toward lasting vitality, greater comfort, and ease.
What We’ll Explore Together Across 4 Weeks
This no-cost, 4-Wednesday November series breaks down the essential pillars of functional awareness and mobility:
Week 1 (Nov 4): Mapping the Central Line & Postural Feedback Wake up your nervous system along the central longitudinal axis. Using the wall for clear feedback, we’ll explore pelvic placement and spinal tendencies without forcing position—learning to feel where your body naturally searches for balance between Earth and Sky.
Week 2 (Nov 11):
The Breath Canister & Dynamic Pressure Discover the magic of intra-abdominal pressure (IAP). We’ll harness the dynamic canister of the breath to generate internal stability, using the power of the exhale for grounded strength and effortless control—without unnecessary gripping or tension.
Week 3 (Nov 18): Fascial Slings & Cross-Lateral ConnectionMap "X marks the spot"—the cross-body fascial slings connecting front and back. Through contralateral movement, we’ll sharpen the brain-body connection to reach, bend, and twist with full-body integration that extends beyond the center line.
Week 4 (Nov 25): Controlled Articulation & Fluid Joint MovementUse joint range of motion as a personal assessment tool. We’ll illuminate your individual movement habits and master eccentric strengthening—using control to lengthen and open muscles through their full range, translating deep inner awareness into fluid, daily movement.
